Lenovo X200 Tablet PC Hands On Review Part 1 Video Rating: 4 / 5
The iPad is a full blown tablet, NOT A TABLET PC. This can play flash videos, is an actual laptop, has pressure sensitivity, and is used not only for its tablet purposes, but used as an actual laptop. iPad and this and in a whole different category so I don't know why people are comparing it to the iPad.
I bought the Dell XT2 first, but sent it back. I couldn't handle not having the middle scroll button for my trackpoint and an unnecessary touchpad. Feaures on XT2 that I liked: slimer size. I still like the bulkier/rugged Lenovo one because I'm rough on laptops. The XT2 had the capacitive screen (X200 has that now). The XT2 battery is less bulky than on the X200, but I like using the X200 one as a grip. The XT2 stylus was an odd shape (no "eraser") and storage slot was awkward to reach.
I have the x200. Sadly I bought mine only a few months before the "Enhanced" Multi-Touch (Capacitative) screens were out. My Multi-Touch screen is ok. I mainly use the stylus as the screen gets pretty smeared since you have to press down on it. My computer did come with a cleaning cloth, though. I love the full IBM keyboard and like that there is no touchpad. I do miss the Thinklight and DVD drive, though. (My previous laptop was a T42, not a tablet).

ReplyDeletewhat a shit. Finger-fat in Display?
ReplyDelete-
Use a good touchpad, like macbook-tp.
I don't know why people are even comparing this to an iPad, the iOS isn't even comparable to a real full blown OS like Windows.
ReplyDeletenot true. these things improve repetitive strain, posture problems of regular touch-pad/keyboarding.
ReplyDeleteAll this touch function & writing crap is utterly pointless
ReplyDeleteThis is a stupid review. Does not cover any important issues that a business user would care about. fire this idiot.
ReplyDeletewhich is why it cost $500.
ReplyDeleteBut the Ipad doesn't feature a core i7 CPU and 4GB of RAM... (X201t) ;)
ReplyDeleteyeah but the iPad cost as low as $500... not $2000.
ReplyDeletecan't get used to a touchpad? Are your fingers retarded?

ReplyDelete@IAmAMacNotAPC True... it's ugly as sin, but at least you can DO something with it (*cough*)(*iPad*)
