MobileBurn.com - The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is the latest 7-inch Android tablet to come from Samsung. While 4G versions are coming, we tested out the initially available Wi-Fi model to see how it stacks up when compared with its larger 8.9 and 10.1 inch tablet brothers. The 7.0 Plus features a dual-core 1GHz processor and a very slim design that measures only 10mm at its thickest point, while maintaining a weight of only 345g. It features a 3 megapixel main camera and a secondary 2 megapixel unit up front for video chatting, and its display offers 1024 x 600 pixel resolution. More info: www.mobileburn.com

  7. not to mention, the integration means simplicity when using it. a good example is in when you hold down a file (video, picture, ect) it opens a menu of the apps the can share/handle the file, like when you hold down a picture, a share to facebook, twitter, email or whatever apps you installed option will show up. iPad only gives to option to share with Twitter or email.

  8. You also dont have to dig deep in the OS's setting and menus to do simple things such as turning on/off wifi or manage storage. Android also lets 3rd party apps have more integration and more functions/usefulness. For example, android apps such as dropbox allows you do download many more files, create folders and much more inside the app, which you cant do in the iPad because of apple developer guidelines.

  9. beacuse unlike the iPad, it can be customized beyond the wallpaper with things like themes and widgts and 3rd party apps have intergration with the OS and other apps, such as downloadable keyboards and browser (google chrome, dolphin, ect) that can replace the default once, without ever having it jailbroken.

  20. It's just Nexus 7. Galaxy is Samsung's line and the Nexus 7 is made by Asus.

  21. I wonder how many people regret buying this after Google announced their Nexus Galaxy 7?

  22. I made the same comparison and decided to get the 7.0 Plus with better hardware. I was able to buy a display model closeout at Best Buy with full warranty and return privileges for $223. So far it's worked great for my purposes. The 2MB front camera was an important consideration since I Skype a lot.

  23. Supposedly, but Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is listed as eligible for ICS update.

  24. awesome, but isn't ICS a little better than Honeycomb?

    ReplyDelete
  25. how can i transfer files from my pc to my samsung galaxy 7.0 plus? is there a way to copy paste them?

    ReplyDelete
  26. yeah it's a little cheaper, but I'm pretty sure you can find it online somewhere a little less than the 350 price, I paid 300 for mine at Newegg about 3 months back.

    ReplyDelete
  27. but isn't the galaxy tab 2 100 cheaper?

  28. Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has Honeycomb 3.2, CPU type Samsung Exynos, CPU speed
1.20GHz, HDD 16gb, and the back camera has a flash.

Galaxy Tab 2 has Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0, CPU type TI OMAP4430, CPU speed 1.00GHz, HDD 8gb, and the back has no flash.

So if you buy the Galaxy Tab 2 you are actually downgrading.
