However, the Archos have come up with a new touch screen tablet named Archos 101 which is offered at an amazingly cheap price. The company simultaneously launched five models of the same device on the same day which was in the price range of $ 100 to $ 300. This huge gap in the price is because of the difference in features offered by the device.

Since Archos model 101 has Android operating system Froyo version 2.2 and full Adobe Flash 10 support, so just to remind you that all your favorite applications like Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, YouTube, Skype, etc. will run really smoothly on it.

The high definition 10.1 inches TFT LCD touch screen allows you to watch movies, videos and other multimedia at a resolution of 1024x600 pixels with a crisp clear display that gives pleasure to your eyes. The device has a 1 Giga Hertz ARM cortex A8 processor combined with a graphic accelerator which basically enhances the image quality. This Archos tablet also has an HDMI output slot which allows you to connect your device to your TV for an even larger display. Along with the Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi this Archos unit has a micro SD card slot (supporting 8GB to 32 GB) too.

It has a lithium polymer battery which runs almost 10 hours when surfing internet, 7 hours video playback time, and 36 hours music playback time, which is ample enough for meeting most of the needs of a user. The device also has a built-in webcam, speaker, microphone, and G sensor. Moreover, gaming lovers will totally go for this machine due to its 3D open GL technology graphics facility. For connecting to a relevant computer, the minimum requirements of system are Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Windows XP, or it may be used on Mac, or any Linux-based system.

This sleek designed Archos device has a very appealing shape with a very thin stature of just 12mm. It weighs only 16.9 oz. which is even lighter than the Galaxy tab and iPad. To add more to it, the device is packaged with an adjustable leg stand which lets you work more comfortably without any need of buying an added accessory. This Archos touch screen device is remarkably the best thing one can have and can easily replace your PC without limiting your web usage. It is rightly said that all good things come in small packages and so is the case with Archos 101.
