I felt I had sufficient time with both tabs to give an update on how Froyo has changed the Gen8 tab experience. 8gb: www.amazon.com a lot of people are upset about the Froyo firmware update but in my experience web browsing speed has improved despite not having an optimized Adobe flash plugin.   2. How the fuck do you get your 101 so fast? mine was really slow, i mean really slow out of the box and installation of urukdroid didnt help so i havent used mine since i bought it, 5 months ago

  4. hi can you help, i have two ten inch archos tablets and niether will allow me to input text into an email body in hotmail or gmail, the keypad will not pop up. i can recive mail ok, i have installed latest updates as of may 8th 2012 many thanks in advance.

  6. Hello, I'm in the fence between buying an Archos tablet and a Nook Color for my girlfriend. At the moment I'm leaning toward the Archos because she is going to go to school soon and I feel like it will offer more functional for writing papers since I've read you can connect a USB keyboard. The Nook seems more like a reader and media player but the GUI seems simpler and friendly so that's a plus for my GF. She was looking into a cheaper laptop but I think a tablet would suit her even better.

  9. is the 10.1 archos market the same as the android phone market? For example the pokedex app i know you can get it on android phons but can u get it on the archos 10.1 tablet? please reply by this christmas so i can get 1

  10. Just bought mine 2days ago at HMV for £129,I ve downloaded the new firmware n google market ,now I have Skype, youtube, Yahoo etc...3times cheaper than Apple,I LOVE it!!!Next January I get the 9gen.

  16. when u buy it and go online u are told there is an update for the firmware. After u update it u will have flash and a faster tablet from the way it was out the box. And its cheaper these days i got mind for 259 us dollars

  19. Flash is set to OnDemand. It does not load until you click. Saves bandwidth. Allows quicker loading.

  21. Yes, don't know why he doesn't know this. Go into power options and choose overclocking, it will run at 1 ghz all the time. But the regular setting runs at 300 to 800 ghz on average, but it depends what the app needs, it will run at 1ghz if it has too.

  26. just to clarify about the 1ghz processor, in the latest update, you have power management options, setting it to overdrive sets the processor to 1ghz.
