The Samsung Galaxy Tab, also known as smart media device by Samsung, has made it debut at IFA consumer electronics fair in Berlin with lots of interesting specifications after a long-waited time. Let’s enjoy stunning features this new product brings for consumers as follows:
The Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet is equipped with a 7-inch WSVGA TFT-LCD screen with 1024×600 pixel resolution which can record 1080p HD video, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity, the XviD, MPEG4, along with H.264 video formats. Thus, the Galaxy Tab becomes the first tablet to be DivX-approved. Moreover, the Galaxy Tab is powered by Android 2.2 operating system, a Cortex A8 1GHz processor capable of 512Mb of RAM with 32 GB internal storage of the microSD memory cards. In addition, this product features a 3-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED Flash along with the front 1.3-megapixel camera specialized in video conference. One more thing, this equipment is 380 grams (0.82 pounds) heavy and can measure 7.48-inches by 4.74-inches, and has a profile of just 0.47-inches.
For e-reading, Samsung has offered three various apps including PressDisplay for news, Kobo for e-books, and Zinio for magazines
