Lenovo ThinkPad X61 Tablet notebook
thinkpad x61 tablet Videos
Designed with functionality in mind, it delivers uncompromised mobility and flexibility. Ideal for any form intensive work. Video Rating: 4 / 5
JUST F.Y.I. all of the X series are not meant for gaming. if you're trying to run some FPS or god forbid WOW - this isn't the notebook for you - still an awesome one none the less.
I got one 2nd hand. The firewire broke pretty quick. Luckily it had an onsite business gaurantee. The repair guy dropped by 2nd of January. 1/2 hour later he replaced the motherboard! free.
The auto rotate doesnt work well, in my opinion. It always gets it wrong (with both mobos). It's now turned off.
Sounds bad but it's great! I use it really intensively.
I'm an incoming college freshman in the fall and I am interested to buy a tablet PC. I wish to use it for note-taking and for outdoor activities. I'm in a crossroads of either choosing a HP tx2500 or a Lenovo X61. They both sound good. But what would you guys recommend? Thanks
does windows 8 consumer preview work on this tablet? if so does the muti touch gestures work?

ReplyDeleteP.s. as a 3rd year in college, you're not going to be taking notes on it in class, just f.y.i. - this isn't American Pie or some shit
so you fail as a notebook shopper

ReplyDeleteyou should change the title, this is the video ad for all the X series from Lenovo, not only x61, now they have a better one x200 and x300.
