Acer iconia tab A100 Review (Android Honeycomb Tablet)

android honeycomb tablet Videos

Review of the Acer iconia tab a100 review. Covers: design, ports, Android Honeycomb, and includes a comparison of the Kindle Fire at the end! Overall: Great little tablet, that runs Android Honeycomb great! I would recommend this to anybody in the market for a tablet. A100 vs Kindle Fire? Not to hurt anybodys feelings, but I would choose this tablet over the Kindle Fire ANY day. This can get up to 64 gigs of storage with the SD slot, it can use Android Market AND Amazon App Store (Kindle can only use amazon) and this runs Honeycomb, soon (April) to be Ice Cream Sandwich. It doesn't run a wussy version of Android 2.3, like the Kindle Fire does. Its just a better Tablet. ! Please subscribe. :)

LINK TO FULL REVIEW: bit.ly We review the Motorola XOOM Android Honeycomb tablet for Verizon. It as an NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 5MP camera, and can connect to the Verizon 4G LTE data network. In many ways it trounces the iPad. But, is it really a full-fledged iPad killer?

  1. Just dont keep the brightness on all the way, that will help alot. And the ICS update didn't change the battery at all, but it was a great update.

  2. Alright, and yea the nexus 7 is tempting but the Acer is better other then the battery any tips on making it Last long and did the ICS update help the battery?

  3. You're welcome. I'm might, subscribe so you can be updated. The Nexus 7 looks pretty sweet. If you don't care about SD storage, ports, or Jelly Bean (and future updates) then the a100 will be fine. However, the Nexus 7 looks good too, pretty tempting for $199.

  4. Yea that's what I thought I mean it should because the nexus 7 has it and the a100 is better then it but I don't think Acer would wanna spend money to when they are coming out with new tablets. Also I'm thinking of getting the a100 and I was wondering if you would be able to make a video on what apps will work on it and stuff if you could that would help a lot and thanks for responding back.

  5. It might....but it may not. Usually tablets only get 1 update, and it got ICS....but I hope it will! If not it will for sure get a custom Jelly Bean ROM.

  8. I looked at all those options as well! but the huge deciding point for me was that this Tablet has Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich. :)

  11. Great review! One of the more positive reviews on this out there.

Just ordered this device refurbished for 220$ and I couldn't be happier. It's got some great features: dual core, GPS, Android Honeycomb, which for me, out way the negatives: screen viewing angle, battery life, no USB charging.

  13. This tablet is cool and it's a shame that it has only 4 hours of battery life. Thanks for the review

  14. @JGMURPY1 Its not shitty, its actually really good. It may not be as good as those tablets, but I dont need a 10 inch tablet, and this is the best 7 inch tablet out there, IMO.
