Google's latest design has been coupled with the slick hardware of Samsung which resulted in the flagship model of Google, Samsung Nexus S. Google has described the gadget as a state of mind rather than just being a handset and is being called as 'Pure Google'. Though the handset feels lighter to hold in your hands and the curved edges provide easier grip, it still misses out the premium feel of iPhone 4 or HTC Desire HD. The touch sensitive keys at the bottom of the 4 inch LCD panel provides a strong confirmation buzz with just a single touch. Though the 16 GB internal memory is good enough to hold all your favorite media files, the lack of micro SD expansion slot is disappointing. The Android 2.3 update has come up with an improved power management to boost up the efficiency of the smart phone. The rocking 1 GHz Hummingbird processing power under the hoods have added life to multitasking and faster accessing of applications.

Samsung Nexus s handset has come up with 3D scrolling menu options, dedicated GPU and five home screen support with the underlying interface. It also comes with contact synchronization of the handset's phone book with a multitude of accounts like Facebook, Google, Twitter etc. The front camera for video calling also works out efficiently on similar grounds to that of iPhone 4. Call quality is also better with noise cancellation technique on board along with an intuitive call log. Messaging is also excellent with an ease of text entry through the touch sensitive QWERTY onscreen keyboard with about 95 percent accuracy. It has come up with an internet friendly approach through Flash integration and multi touch zooming effects along with loading up of web pages smoothly. It has also enabled sharing the web pages with friends via social networking.

Samsung Nexus S has come up with a mega pixel rear camera with various scene modes, exposure correction and altering White Balance options similar to previous Nokia handsets. The picture quality of the clicked images is good even under dim light. Unlike the Nexus One, this has not come up with HD video recording option and only comes with satisfactory 720 x 480 pixel resolution. A couple of tweaks came up with media functionalities of the handset but the video looks nice owing to the Super AMOLED enabled touchscreen. It also comes with similar media payback capabilities as that of its predecessor. The 1500 mAh battery power also lasts long even utilizing the powerful features of the handset providing perfect power management schemes. It has even come up with the PC synchronization software with ultimate connectivity options. Samsung Nexus S showcases the power of 2.3 Gingerbread without any network delay issues.
