Acer ICONIA A700 Full HD Android Tablet - First Look

After watching the video read the article here: ritchiesroom.com Watch this video as we take a closer look at the soon to be released Acer ICONIA A700 and A701 HD Android tablets. The very first Android tablets and certainly the only tablet at this point, outside of the new iPad, to have a Full HD screen. With the Tegra 3 Quad Core CPU, mini HDMI and mini USB ports this tablet steps it up a notch and could be one of the first salvoes at the new iPad by an Android tablet manufacturer.     As long as you're not tied down to Windows, the Android tablet offers ore portability and a touch screen for better functionality.

    Yes, you can plug a flash drive in as additional storage.

    We haven't done direct comparisons yet but the Infinity does seem to be lighter and have a brighter screen, and the keyboard on the Infinity may be the deciding factor.

    Acer Australia haven't confirmed anything yet but I'll update here when there is more info.

    We didn't compare the A700 to anything at the time, or run any intensive tests because it was a pre-production model. When/if the A700 makes it here in its final form, we'll be sure to test it against the best alternatives :-)

    How does it compare to the prime?? Also any lag when running lots of apps and having lots of apps on it? How is the camera and screen brightness? Anything you don't like about it? I appreciate you making these videos and always look forward to watching them.

    It's a good point. One has to wonder why notebooks haven't evolved to this level of definition (with the exception of a high-end models).

    você não viu nada...demora mesmo uns 4 meses pra chegar ai voce vai ter que pagar mais 139 reais a mais...chega no correios proximos da sua casa ou centro ai vem uma carta pra vc ir pagar até a data que eles marcam...se nao pagar até a data esperada corre un juros do caralho mais essa ainda que merda de site da china ...nunca mais compro nada deles...aviso a voces tbem a nao comprarem mais nda de la ok valew

    Brother será que vc ou alguém aqui pode me ajudar. Comprei um igual e este seu, porem o mesmo nao reconhece minha rede wi fi, quando coloco nome e senha informa que NAO ESTÁ DENTRO DO ALCANCE, mas como pode ser isso se estou a menos de 2m do roteador? na verdade nao aparece nenhuma rede disponivel ou seja, ele nao reconhece nenhuma rede aberta ou protegida. Onde tenho que configurar? Grato a vc a todos!
