Tablets in India are reaching to an unprecedented height. This new and innovative device has become the taste of the new digital and computing world. Recently we saw a tremendous response from the consumers when Apple came up with its latest new iPad. This was a major proof which shows how much popular are these tablets in India. To woo the consumers, many brands are launching affordable tablets. In a price sensitive Indian market, no device can gain the ultimate popularity until it is affordable. Indian costumers are more particular about value for their money in terms of price and features. People here still consider owning a premium device like iPad is seen as a luxury. This is the main reason which has allowed the mushrooming of the cheap tablets in India. When talking about the affordable tablet, there has to be the mentioning of Android tablets. We are currently witnessing a sudden spree of Android tablets in India. Some of the mobile operators are also planning to launch their version of tablets. For example BSNL has announced that it would bring up three Androids tablets in coming months with special data plans. With these, the company is aiming to cater both the low-end and mid-range customer segments. Androids tablets in India are re-defining the competitive landscape for rest of the operating systems.

One of the players who has created their own craft in terms of Android based best tablet in India is Samsung. They are known for their sleek design and stylish looks. The Samsung tablets in India support the latest technology and are fairly priced. Their tablets are one of those rare tablets which have managed to give descent competition to Apple's iPad. Now the company is targeting to double the sales of tablets in India in the current year. The company clocked sales of lakhs of units last year and sees a challenging in growing the tablets penetration dramatically. Samsung Tablets in India share is fairly small as of now. So the company is devising plans to at least double sales during the current year. The markets for tablets was set to grow significantly as also the demand for smartphones in which Samsung was a leading player.

Though the entry of low cost tablets had an impact on major players, the major brands continued to take a dominant share in the market. In coming months we would witness some new Samsung tablets in India build on innovative and upcoming technologies. The innovations and providing solutions and content suiting the customers continued to guide the market. Recently Samsung unveiled its first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich based tablet called Galaxy Tab 2 310. Among some new Samsung tablets in India, Galaxy Tab 730 is the latest one.

    well, android o.s. comes from open source software, is matter of time to get more apps than the ipad, in my opinion the samsung g.t. it is still expensive, i had a 7-inch tablet, the size is ok to me it fits everywhere, the ipad is heavier than a S.G.T. beacuse of the luxury materials... the most important think is the software development... by the moment apple is on the edge, matter of time.....

  12. I don't really have the money or want to buy tablets, I was just commenting on the video. I can live without anything, I don't see how my comment came out anything more than it was (which is just that, a comment).

  13. Go to the store and try it... then try the ipad... the html5 with youtube vid's didn't lag... but ZOMGZ... something is wrong when you turn on flash for the galaxy tab. If you really cann't live without flash, then you get the tab, if not, save yourself the frustration and get the iPad.

    Or better yet, just get one of the new netbooks with the n550 processor (its TRUE dual core), maybe with nvdia ion for HD streaming, you'll be much happier, or wait for iPad 2
